Luzich Racing gained another successful weekend at the Paul Ricard circuit, round 2 of the GT Open International Championship, taking two podiums during the weekend double-header. In Race 1, Mikkel Mac and Marco Cioci took the third position in Luzich Racing Ferrari 488 No. 51. Alexander West and Michele Rugolo at the wheel of Luzich Racing Ferrari No. 71 caught yet another podium with second place in Pro-Am class during Saturday’s Race 1. In race 2, Cioci-Mac took the fifth spot under the chequered flag. The 488 No. 71 was fifth in Pro-Am, too. The team scored other important points in the Championship. Luzich Racing is second in the Teams’ Classification with 31 points (-1 from leader) throughout assorted victories and podium finishes in both Round 1 (Estoril) and Round 2 (Paul Ricard). In the Drivers’ standings, Mac is leading thanks to his 46 points (+13 on the second). In Pro-Am Drivers’ standings, Alexander West and Michele Rugolo are second having 23 points (-7 from the top) The next round of the competition will be at Spa (Belgium), June 9th and 10th.
