L’obbiettivo è uno solo: riconquistare i primati in classifica e portare nuovi punti a Ferrari per consolidare la leadership tra i Costruttori GT. Una missione non semplice ma, senza dubbio, alla portata delle Ferrari 458 Italia di AF Corse nella “6 Hours of Fuji”, sesto round del FIA World Endurance Championship. Nel corso delle ultime gare, alcuni episodi poco fortunati hanno condizionato i risultati. Tanto che i campioni del mondo, Gianmaria Bruni e Toni Vilander, hanno perso la prima posizione nella classifica iridata GT Drivers; al momento, il duo sulla Ferrari 458 Italia numero 51 è terzo con 68,5 punti. Davanti a loro, i compagni di squadra Davide Rigon e James Calado sulla Ferrari 458 Italia numero 71: grazie agli 87 punti raccolti, sono secondi a 11 lunghezze da Lietz. Nella classifica mondiale riservata ai piloti GTE Am, François Perrodo, Emmanuel Collard e Rui Aguas sono secondi, sulla Ferrari 458 Italia numero 83, con 96 punti; davanti a loro, i piloti di SMP Racing. Nel mondiale Costruttori GT, Ferrari è prima con 187 lunghezze. AF Corse è in seconda piazza nella competizione iridata riservata ai Team GTE Pro con 101 punti (Porsche Team Manthey è primo con 107) e seconda tra i Team GTE Am con 96 (Smp Racing è primo con 131). L’appuntamento con la “6 Hours of Fuji” è previsto domenica 11 ottobre, alle 11 (ora locale).

The target is clear: to gain the first positions in the rankings and bring new points to Ferrari to maintain the leadership in the GT Manufactures standing. A mission is not easy but possible for the AF Corse Ferrari 458′s Italia in the “6 Hours of Fuji”, sixth round in the FIA World Endurance Championship. During the last races, some unlucky episodes have affected the results.
