ZHUHAI – Con la “Sei ore di Zhuhai”, il prossimo 13 novembre, si conclude l’Intercontinental Le Mans Cup 2011. Un campionato letteralmente dominato, nella categoria GTE Pro, da AF Corse e dalla Ferrari 458 Italia GT2 guidata da Giancarlo Fisichella e Gianmaria Bruni.I due piloti italiani, fino a questo momento, sono sempre saliti sul podio in ognuna della sei gare disputate, vincendone ben tre (Spa, Silverstone e la Petit Le Mans, ad Atlanta). Alle “24 Ore di Le Mans” ed alle “Sei ore di Imola”, la coppia italiana è riuscita a chiudere in seconda posizione, mentre a Sebring, prima gara dell’anno, si è piazzata terza.
Con la tappa in Cina dell’Ilmc si assegnano i titoli. AF Corse è in testa con 99 punti, seguita da Bmw Motorsport ad 85. Per quanto riguarda i costruttori, Ferrari è in prima posizione davanti a Bmw (155 contro 123).
INTERCONTINENTAL LE MANS CUP: THE CHINA RACE AT ZHUHAI FOR THE CHAMPIONSHIP IS CONCLUSIVE. AF CORSE AND FERRARI ARE DOMINATING THE COMPETITION
ZHUHAI – With the “Six hours of Zhuhai”, on November 13th, the 2011 Intercontinental Le Mans Cup arrives to the end. AF Corse is dominating the championship in the GTE Pro Category with Giancarlo Fisichella and Gianmaria Bruni on Ferrari 458 Italia GT2. The two Italian drivers were always on the podium in each of the six races scheduled, winning three events (Spa, Silverstone and the Petit Le Mans in Atlanta). They finished the “24 Hours of Le Mans” and the “Six hours of Imola” in the second position while at Sebring, the first race of the year, the powerful duo took the chequered flag in third place.
With the race in China, the Ilmc will award the titles. AF Corse has the lead of the team standing with 99 points, followed by BMW Motorsport with 85. In the manufacturers, Ferrari is in the first place ahead of BMW (155 against 123).
