Il Team JD Motorsport con i suoi tre piloti ha lasciato ottimi segnali di competitività anche nell’ultimo appuntamento europeo svoltosi a Barcellona lo scorso 30 ottobre. Riccardo Agostini, che si conferma tra i migliori italiani al via, ha centrato la seconda fila in qualifica; del tutto incolpevole, è stato però tamponato in Gara 1 vedendo così svanire le possibilità per un podio senza dubbi alla sua portata.
Sempre in Gara 1, strepitosa rimonta di Antonio Spavone dal 12° al 4° posto finale che gli vale il miglior risultato in gara della stagione in cui è stato protagonista di un rendimento in crescendo.
Ottima anche la prestazione di Jimmy Antunes che ha trovato fin da subito un buon feeling con tracciato e vettura tanto da rimontare ben dieci posizioni in Gara 1, terminando 8°; peccato che un errore al terzo giro in qualifica lo abbia relegato al 18° posto in griglia di partenza, compromettendogli un risultato in gara sicuramente migliore.
Per quanto riguarda Gara 2, buona la prestazione di Agostini che, nonostante una partenza non perfetta l’avesse arretrato di qualche posizione, termina a punti al 7° posto, mentre a Spavone e Antunes non riesce la rimonta come in Gara 1 concludendo rispettivamente 11° e 12°.
Conclusasi così la stagione agonistica, il Team JD Motorsport dalla prossima settimana sarà già impegnato con i primi test di Franciacorta in preparazione del 2012.
JD MOTORSPORT GOOD PERFORMANCES IN THE FINAL ROUND AT MONTMELO’, TOO
Team JD Motorsport has given excellent performances with its three drivers in the last European Event in Barcelona, too, the last 30th October.
Riccardo Agostini, which confirm to be one of the best Italians in the Championship, got the 2nd row in Qualifying; in Race 1, innocent, was crashed by another car deleting all possibilities he had to get the Podium.
Always in Race 1, amazing comeback for Antonio Spavone able to close the gap from the 12th position to the 4th final place under the chequered flag getting his best season result in race having a race by race performances on the rise.
Very good performance for Jimmy Antunes, too, which had immediately a positive feeling with the track and the car thanks to he was able to close ten position during Race 1 finishing 8th; unfortunate that a mistake in Qualifying after 2 laps stopped him only at the 18th place on the starting grid taking out him for sure better results.
About Race 2, good race for Agostini when even if with a not perfect start he lost some positions, was able to finish 7th, while Spavone and Antunes couldn’t complete a comeback like in Race 1 getting the 11th and 12th place.
The Sporting Season is finished and Team JD Motorsport will be on track in Franciacorta already the next week (14th November 2011) preparing the 2012
