SILVERSTONE, 7 settembre – Con la “6 Ore di Silverstone”, in programma domenica 11 settembre, la Le Mans Series e l’Intercontinental Le Mans Cup tornano in pista dopo la pausa estiva. AF Corse è prima in entrambi i campionati internazionali, il meglio per quanto riguarda le vetture gran turismo e prototipi. Partendo dalla Le Mans Series, il dominio fin qui dimostrato dal team italiano e dai suoi piloti è indiscutibile. L’equipaggio Giancarlo Fisichella e Gianmaria Bruni, su Ferrari 458 Italia GT2, è in testa alla classifica piloti GTE Pro con 44 punti. Seguono, in seconda posizione, gli altri due portacolori di AF Corse nella GTE Pro, Toni Vilander e Jaime Melo (26 punti, Ferrari 458)). Nella GTE Am, il trio Piergiuseppe Perazzini, Marco Cioci e Stephane Lemeret, su Ferrari 430 GT2, occupa la seconda posizione con 39 punti, a soli due lunghezze dalla vetta. Per quanto riguarda la classifica team, AF Corse è saldamente in testa nella GTE Pro con 46 punti ( +21 nei confronti della seconda squadra), e si trova in seconda posizione della GTE Am (39 punti, 2 in meno dal primo in classifica). Nella classifica costruttori della Le Mans Series, Ferrari è al vertice con 90 punti, ben 42 in più di Porsche (in seconda posizione).
Anche nell’Intercontinental Le Mans Cup, AF Corse e Ferrari occupano le posizioni di testa. Nella classifica costruttori, la casa del Cavallino è prima con 98 punti, davanti a BMW (87). Nella graduatoria team GTE Pro, il team di Amato Ferrari è in vetta con 68 punti, davanti a BMW Motorsport (62). Nella GTE Am, AF Corse è in terza posizione. Non ci sono classifiche per i piloti nell’ILMC.
SILVERSTONE, September 7th – Prototypes and GTEs resume battle in the Le Mans Series and in the Intercontinental Le Mans Cup on September 10th-11th on the Silverstone circuit, in England. AF Corse team and Ferrari are leading both championships, the best of the prototype and GT motor sport in the world.
In the Le Mans Series, the AF Corse’s supremacy shown till this moment is unquestionable. Giancarlo Fisichella and Gianmaria Bruni crew, with Ferrari 458 Italia GT2, is in the first position of the GTE Pro drivers leading with 44 points. Soon after, in the second place, there are Toni Vilander and Jaime Melo (Ferrari 458) with 26 points, other two AF Corse drivers. In the GTE Am, Piergiuseppe Perazzini-Marco Cioci-Stephane Lemeret, on Ferrari 430 GT2, are in second position with 39 points (two points behind). In the manufactures classification, Ferrari is at the top with 90 points (Porsche, the second in the ranking, has 48). AF Corse is in first position of the GTE Pro team classification thanks to 46 points (the team of Amato Ferrari is 21 points up) and is in second place of GTE Am (39 points, following the leader by two points).
In the Intercontinental Le Mans Cup, the Italian team is in the first position of GTE Pro classification ahead of BMW (68 to 62 points) and Ferrari is in the first position with 98 points (BMW is second, 87) of the manufactures. In the GTE Am standing of ILMC, AF Corse is third. The ILMC championship have not drivers classification.
