Tre Ferrari 458 Italia di AF Corse nell’European Le Mans Series (ELMS) 2013. Due saranno le 458 Italia GT2 impegnate nella categoria GTE mentre la terza Rossa è una GT3 che correrà nella categoria GTC. Seguendo l’ordine dell’entry list, sulla Ferrari 458 Italia GT2 numero 54 troviamo Howard Blank, Yannick Mallegol e Jean Marc Bachelier, equipaggio affiatato che si è messo positivamente in mostra nella Blancpain Endurance Series 2012. Sulla Ferrari 458 Italia GT2 numero 55, Federico Leo, Piergiuseppe Perazzini e Marco Cioci. Il primo, giovane pilota tra i più promettenti nel panorama nazionale, è il campione in carica del GT Open International sulla 458 Italia GT2 di AF Corse; Perazzini, già vice campione dell’European Le Mans Series per due anni consecutivi, è un driver di grande esperienza sulle vetture GT; Cioci, anche lui vice campione nelle ultime due stagioni dell’Elms, può essere considerato uno dei più veloci specialisti sulle GT. Di grande valore anche l’equipaggio impegnato nella GTC. Sulla Ferrari 458 Italia GT3 numero 62, infatti, spiccano Stefano Gai, Andrea Rizzoli e Lorenzo Casè. Piloti giovani ma dal grande potenziale, più volte ribadito con i risultati colti in pista nelle stagioni passate. Tutti e tre hanno sempre dimostrato di avere i giusti numeri per vincere e per poter ambire a successi importanti. I “giochi” per l’ELMS 2013 iniziano in questo fine settimana con la tre ore di Silverstone, in programma dalle 15 alle 18 di sabato 13 (orario londinese, GMT +0).

Three AF Corse Ferrari 458 Italia in the European Le Mans Series (ELMS) 2013. There will be two 458 Italia GT2 competing in the GTE category while the third Ferrari will race in the GTC category. Following the entry list, in the 458 Italia GT2 No. 54 are Howard Blank, Yannick Mallegol and Jean Marc Bachelier, a close-knit group that did well in the Blancpain Endurance Series 2012. Federico Leo, Piergiuseppe Perazzini and Marco Cioci will drive the AF Corse Ferrari 458 Italia GT2 No.55. Leo is the reigning champion of the GT Open International series, (which he won with the AF Corse Ferrari 458 Italia GT2) and a young driver among the most promising on the Italian scene; Perazzini, who came second two years running in the ELMS, is a driver with great experience in the GT cars; Cioci, who partnered Perazzini to second place both years, is considered one of the fastest drivers in the GT. The squad engaged in the GTC category are also very talented. At the wheel of the Ferrari 458 Italia GT3 No.62 are Stefano Gai, Andrea Rizzoli and Lorenzo Casè. All young with great potential proven with results gained in past seasons. All three have always shown the ability to win and aim for important successes. The “games” will begin this weekend with the three hours race in Silverstone, scheduled Saturday 13th from 3 until 6 P.M. (GMT +0).
