Alex Powell to join PREMA for remainder of 2026 F3 season
PREMA is pleased to confirm that Alex Powell will join the team for the F3 test in Madrid and the remaining races of the 2026 FIA Formula 3 season, following Louis Sharp’s departure from the team.
Powell, an American-Jamaican driver, returns to PREMA having won the Italian F4 Rookie Championship with the team in 2024. He has since gone on to finish as runner-up in the 2025 F4 UAE season, and is currently competing in Eurocup 3.

Alex Powell said:

PREMA è lieta di confermare che Alex Powell si unirà al team per i test di F3 a Madrid e per le restanti gare della stagione 2026 di FIA Formula 3, in seguito all’addio di Louis Sharp.
Powell, pilota americano-giamaicano, torna in PREMA dopo aver vinto il Campionato Italiano Rookie di F4 con il team nel 2024. Da allora ha ottenuto il secondo posto nella stagione 2025 di F4 UAE e attualmente gareggia in Eurocup 3.

Alex Powell ha dichiarato:
“Per me è un grande onore tornare in PREMA. Questa squadra mi ha dato la mia prima opportunità nelle monoposto e tornare per la parte finale della stagione di F3 2026 è una grande occasione per dimostrare di cosa sono capace. Non vedo l’ora di salire in macchina e darò il massimo.”
