IL RALLY DEL TICINO SI RINNOVA E CHIAMA ALL’APPELLO GLI APPASSIONATI
La proposta 2026 è di quelle succulente: il 28° Rally del Ticino che si correrà a metà settembre sarà diverso e molto accattivante per gli appassionati. Sessanta chilometri di prove speciali, due giorni di gara e prove montane davvero adrenaliniche per un contesto valevole per il Campionato Assoluto Svizzero, il Campionato Junior Svizzero, la Coppa Svizzera, la Coppa Svizzera dei Rally Storici VHC e il Campionato Ticinese Rally.
Il Comitato Organizzatore, quest’anno ha “forzato la mano” strutturando un percorso di alta levatura tecnica. Si parte venerdì 18 con la prova spettacolo “Chicco d’Oro” a Balerna, occasione per gustarsi lo show a due passi da casa e con tutte le comodità a portata di mano.
Sabato 19 invece le prove saranno un mix di tecnica e velocità con la Valcolla – un must del Rally del Ticino- che verrà percorsa per tre volte: due passaggi da 8,43 chilometri ed uno più lungo da 14,47. Le sorprese non finiscono qui perché torna la Malcantone, prova montana al confine con l’Italia ricca di passaggi mozzafiato. Questo tratto verrà percorso per due volte con un chilometraggio di 12,42 ciascuno.
L’arrivo sarà collocato come ormai tradizione davanti all’Hotel Coronado dove verranno celebrati i vincitori.
La gara è aperta anche alle vetture storiche.
Le iscrizioni si sono aperte il giorno 10 agosto e verranno chiuse il giorno 9 settembre alle ore 24 (fa fede il timbro postale).

The 2026 proposal is a juicy one: the 28th Rally del Ticino, taking place in mid-September, will be different and highly captivating for enthusiasts. Sixty kilometers of special stages, two days of racing, and truly adrenaline-fueled mountain stages will be part of a competition valid for the Swiss Absolute Championship, the Swiss Junior Championship, the Swiss Cup, the VHC Swiss Historic Rally Cup, and the Ticino Rally Championship.
This year, the Organizing Committee has pushed the envelope by designing a highly technical route. It kicks off on Friday the 18th with the “Chicco d’Oro” spectacular stage in Balerna, a chance to enjoy the show just steps from home and with all the conveniences within easy reach.
On Saturday the 19th, the stages will be a mix of technique and speed, with the Valcolla—a must-see of the Rally del Ticino—run three times: two 8.43-kilometer runs and a longer one of 14.47. The surprises don’t end there, as the Malcantone returns, a mountain stage on the border with Italy packed with breathtaking sections. This section will be covered twice, each covering 12.42 kilometers.
The finish line, as is now tradition, will be located in front of the Hotel Coronado, where the winners will be celebrated.
The race is also open to historic cars.
Registration opened on August 10th and will close on September 9th at midnight (date of postmark).
