Michelin Le Mans Cup – 45 Entries for Round 4 in Belgium

2026 marks a decade since the first Michelin Le Mans Cup race at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps. This year’s event will feature a total of 45 entries, a significant increase from the 12 cars seen ten years ago. The 2026 race will showcase 90 drivers from 31 teams representing 28 nations across Europe, North America, South America, Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and Oceania.

In the LMP3 category, there are 24 entries. Daniel Frost and Enzo Peugeot lead the championship with 62 points, having secured two podiums from three races. They hold a 12-point lead over Lucas Fluxá Cross and Matus Ryba, who are in second place. Colin Queen and Giovanni Maschio sit third with 43 points, while Arthur Rogeon and August Raber have moved to fourth after winning the first-ever 3-hour Road To Le Mans race. Lenny Ried and Philip Lindberg are in fifth place after scoring 27 points in Le Mans.

Belgium will be represented by Vic Stevens and his teammate Jude Peters in the no70 Team Virage Ligier. Additionally, the Belgian team Ajith RedAnt Racing will field a Ligier for former Formula One driver Narain Karthikeyan and his teammate Aditya Patel. The LMP3 grid will also include entries from several other teams, including Nielsen Racing and reigning champions R-ace GP.

There have been some driver changes, with Bruno Ribeiro and Mitchell van Dijk replacing previous drivers in the no26 Bretton Racing Ligier. Another change sees Romain Boeckler joining the no97 CLX Motorsport Ligier.

In the LMP3 Pro/Am category, there are 11 entries led by champions Eric De Doncker and Gillian Henrion, who have 72 points. They are followed by Steve Parrow and Mikkel Gaarde Pedersen in second place. Australian duo Fraser Ross and Georges Nakas are currently fourth. George King is set to replace Shawn Rashid in the no34 Inter Europol Competition Ligier.

The GT3 class has 10 entries, with important driver changes. Championship leader Valentin Hasse Clot will not race in Belgium, and Marius Fossard will take his place in the no10 Racing Spirit of Léman Aston Martin. The team holds a 27-point lead in the standings. Matteo Cressoni and Reinhold Klein are the nearest rivals in second place with 51 points. The no21 Kessel Racing Ferrari is currently third, and reigning champions Alessandro Cozzi and Eliseo Donno are fourth.

Other teams in the GT3 category include various Aston Martins and Ferraris, such as the no11 Code Racing Development and the no77 SMC Motorsport McLaren. The fourth round of the 2026 Michelin Le Mans Cup is scheduled for Saturday, August 22, at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps. Tickets are available for purchase starting at 8 Euros.

Il 2026 segna il decimo anniversario della prima gara della Michelin Le Mans Cup sul circuito di Spa-Francorchamps. L’edizione di quest’anno vedrà la partecipazione di 45 vetture, un aumento significativo rispetto alle 12 di dieci anni fa. La gara del 2026 vedrà al via 90 piloti di 31 team, in rappresentanza di 28 nazioni provenienti da Europa, Nord America, Sud America, Asia, Africa, Medio Oriente e Oceania.

Nella categoria LMP3, sono 24 le vetture iscritte. Daniel Frost ed Enzo Peugeot guidano il campionato con 62 punti, frutto di due podi conquistati in tre gare.
