La stagione 2012 World Series by Renault 3.5 è ufficialmente iniziata oggi con i due turni di prove libere che anticipano le qualifiche ufficiali e la prima gara che si disputerà domani. Alle 9.50 di questa mattina i 26 piloti World Series sono scesi in pista per 30 minuti, nei quali Nico Muller del Team Draco ha effettuato 20 giri, conquistando il 7° posto con un tempo di 1’41″177. Il pilota svizzero ha fatto registrare un ottimo 1’40″498 negli ultimi giri del turno pomeridiano andando a conquistare il 2° posto in classifica generale.
André Negrao ha effettuato 19 giri nel corso del turno mattutino, chiudendo con un tempo di 1’41″645, ed altri 14 nel pomeriggio dove, a causa di un piccolo problema, non ha potuto effettuare il giro veloce e ha chiuso con un tempo di 1’42″357.

The World Series by Renault 3.5 2012 season is officially started today with the two free practice sessions that anticipate the formal qualifying and the first race.
At 9.50am this morning the 26 World Series drivers were on track for 30 minutes during which Nico Muller of Draco Team has made 20 laps, winning the 7th place with a time of 1’41″177. The Swiss driver has registered a good 1’40″498 in the final laps of the afternoon turn going to win the 2nd place overall.
André Negrao has made 19 laps during the morning session, closing with a time of 1’41″645, and another 14 in the afternoon where, for a small problem, he cant make the fastest lap and he has finished with a time of 1’42″357.
