Una gara perfetta che Stéphane Richelmi ha iniziato e finito sempre al 1° posto, dominando il circuito del Principato di Monaco e lasciando indietro tutti gli altri piloti GP2 Series. Una vittoria meritata che il pilota DAMS aspettava da tempo e che finalmente è arrivata proprio nella pista di casa, facendo riecheggiare l’inno monegasco sul podio, con la commozione di tutto il pubblico.
Partito in Pole, Richelmi è subito scattato benissimo e ha mantenuto la posizione per tutti i 30 giri previsti, mentre Canamasas al 2° posto cercava invano di avvicinarsi. Niente e nessuno sarebbe riuscito a strappare il sogno della vittoria a Stéphane che ha tagliato il traguardo con l’orgoglio di chi sa di poter essere un leader. Con questi punti conquistati, Richelmi risale la classifica di campionato di ben 3 posizioni e si piazza al 6° posto.

A perfect race that Stéphane Richelmi has started and finished always in 1st place, dominating the circuit of the Monaco’s Principality and leaving behind all the other GP2 drivers. A deserved victory that the DAMS driver has been waiting that is finally arrived in his home track , echoing the Monaco’s anthem on the podium, with the emotion of the audience.
Started in Pole Position, Richelmi has made a beautiful start and he has maintained the position for all 30 laps , while Canamasas in the 2nd place tried in vain to get closer to him. Nothing and nobody would be able to snatch the dream of victory to Stéphane who crossed the finish line with the pride of who know that he can be a leader. With these points, Richelmi climbs into the championship classification of 3 positions and he comes in 6th place.
