REBELLION Racing is proud to welcome Ellip6 as a technical partner, the team will use a new driving simulator developed and built by the French company. Ellip6 is a leading company in the conception and realisation of 6 degrees of freedom (DOF) simulators for the automotive industry. REBELLION Racing will have a bespoke driving simulator that will allow the Swiss team to go further and quicker in the development of their cars.
The simulator is a strategic element added to an already strengthened technical team prior to the 2014 season, in order to accelerate the development of the team.
The correlation work for the driving simulator was based on real data acquisitions from 2013 races with the team’s Lola-Toyotas.
More information about REBELLION Racing’s Ellip6 driving simulator will be released at a later date.
Ellip6 is also known for its high-tech recreation centre network in France, Belgium, Germany and China bringing race driving within the reach of all.
Activation of the partnership between REBELLION Racing and Ellip6 will be extended in the Ellip6 centres with driving simulator competitions and activities through the season.
