Michelin Le Mans Cup – 45 Entries for Silverstone Encounter That Could Decide One or More 2026 Titles

With just two races left in the 2026 season, the Michelin Le Mans Cup is set for a 2-hour race at the Silverstone Grand Prix circuit in the UK. This marks the second time the championship has been held in the UK, and one or more of the class titles may be decided on September 12.

A total of 45 entries will participate, featuring 90 drivers from 31 teams and representing 29 countries, including nine British drivers.

In the LMP3 class, there are 24 entries. British teams Nielsen Racing and Vector Sport RLR will field two cars, featuring five British drivers. Notable British drivers include Maxwell Dodds with his team ANS Motorsport, Jude Peters with Team Virage, and others teaming up with foreign drivers. Enzo Peugeot and Danial Frost lead the LMP3 standings and could secure the 2026 Driver and Team titles with a win at Silverstone.

For the LMP3 class, there has been a driver change, with Jack Taylor replacing Arthur Pavie in the no6 ANS Motorsport car. The full field includes additional teams like R-ace GP and Forestier Racing, with a mix of Ligier cars.

In the LMP3 Pro/Am category, P4 Racing is the only all-British team and looks for better results at home. The championships leaders, Eric De Doncker and Gillian Henrion, are currently ahead in points and need to maintain their lead to secure titles before the final race in Portugal.

German driver Steve Parrow and Danish teammate Mikkel Gaarde Pedersen aim to win their first race of the season at Silverstone, while other competitors like Jacek Zielonka and Léo Sami Robinson also aim for strong finishes. The field includes film star Ajith Kumar, competing alongside his French teammate.

In the GT3 class, there are 10 entries, including one British team, Ecurie Ecosse Blackthorn. Oscar Lee Ryndziewicz is looking to continue his success after winning in Belgium, partnered with Italian Giacomo Altoe. The championship leading Racing Spirit of Léman team will have Valentin Hasse Clot back in action after replacing Marius Fossard.

Other teams include the Kessel Racing Ferrari, AF Corse, and several others, which also have unchanged lineups. This category completes the 45-car grid for the race in the UK.

Additionally, there will be an ELMS Charity Run on September 11 to benefit families affected by cancer. Participants can secure their spot for £10.
