Campionato Italiano GT – Tresor Attempto Racing trionfa al Mugello con Cassarà e Viglietti nella classe AM

Tresor Attempto Racing ha avuto un fine settimana positivo nel Campionato Italiano Gran Turismo Sprint 2026 al Mugello, partecipando con tre Audi R8 LMS GT3 EVO II nei gruppi Pro e AM. Il team, guidato da Ferdinando e Federico Geri, ha dimostrato competitività e costanza, ottenendo successi significativi.

Nella categoria Pro, la vettura 9 ha visto Rocco Mazzola e Ariel Levi, mentre la 99 ha avuto Andrea Frassineti e Alex Aka, e la vettura 22 in classe AM è stata guidata da Marco Cassarà e Vittorio Viglietti. Nelle qualifiche, la 9 ha ottenuto un buon nono e settimo posto, mentre la 22 ha chiuso in settima posizione in Q2. Tuttavia, la 99 non ha sfruttato al meglio il suo potenziale.

In Gara 1, Mazzola e Levi hanno conquistato il settimo posto, mentre Frassineti e Aka, partiti dal fondo, hanno recuperato fino al decimo. Cassarà e Viglietti hanno lottato, finendo al quarto posto nella classe AM. In Gara 2, la 9 ha finito al dodicesimo posto, raccogliendo punti. La 99 ha faticato a causa di un problema al box, mentre la 22 ha trionfato nella classe AM grazie a una prestazione eccellente di Cassarà e Viglietti, che hanno mostrato grande crescita.

Federico Geri, team principal, ha espresso grande soddisfazione per i risultati e per la solidità del team. Ha sottolineato i progressi della 9 e il potenziale della 99. Il campionato tornerà per la terza gara Endurance a Imola dal 4 al 6 settembre.

Tresor Attempto Racing had a successful weekend in the 2026 Italian GT Sprint Championship at Mugello, competing with three Audi R8 LMS GT3 EVO IIs in the Pro and AM groups. The team, led by Ferdinando and Federico Geri, demonstrated competitiveness and consistency, achieving significant wins.

In the Pro category, car 9 featured Rocco Mazzola and Ariel Levi, while car 99 featured Andrea Frassineti and Alex Aka, and car 22 in the AM class was driven by Marco Cassarà and Vittorio Viglietti. In qualifying, car 9 achieved a solid ninth and seventh place, while car 22 finished seventh in Q2. However, car 99 failed to fully exploit its potential.

In Race 1, Mazzola and Levi took seventh place, while Frassineti and Aka, starting from the back, recovered to tenth. Cassarà and Viglietti fought back, finishing fourth in the AM class. In Race 2, the 9 finished twelfth, scoring points. The 99 struggled due to a pit stop issue, while the 22 triumphed in the AM class thanks to an excellent performance from Cassarà and Viglietti, who showed significant improvement.

Federico Geri, team principal, expressed great satisfaction with the results and the team’s solidity. He highlighted the progress of the 9 and the potential of the 99. The championship will return for the third Endurance race at Imola from September 4th to 6th.
