VSR rilancia con tre Lamborghini Huracan nella classe GT3 PRO per difendere il tricolore Sprint

Dopo aver dominato la stagione 2025, VSR si presenta al via del Campionato Italiano Gran Turismo Sprint 2026 con un programma ancora più ambizioso: tre Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo 2 tutte schierate nella classe GT3 Pro, per difendere i titoli Assoluto, Pro-Am e Team, conquistati nella scorsa stagione e confermarsi riferimento della categoria.

La squadra romagnola schiererà, infatti, tre Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo 2 per altrettanti equipaggi Pro, una scelta chiara che conferma la volontà di puntare nuovamente ai vertici in un contesto sempre più competitivo.

A guidare lo schieramento sarà la vettura #66 affidata a Mattia Michelotto e Ignazio Zanon, protagonisti assoluti della passata stagione e pronti al salto nella categoria Pro dopo il successo nella Pro-Am. Un passaggio naturale per una coppia che ha già dimostrato grande affiatamento e concretezza.

Sulla #63 debutterà, invece, un equipaggio inedito composto dal britannico Georgi Dimitrov e dal marchigiano Simone Riccitelli. Il primo arriva dal Lamborghini Super Trofeo, dove si è messo in evidenza per velocità e costanza, mentre il pilota di Fabriano porta con sé un bagaglio di esperienza maturato nelle competizioni endurance e nei prototipi.

Linea giovane e internazionale anche per la #19, con il ritorno in squadra del norvegese Marcus Paverud, già protagonista di campionati GT3, affiancato dal francese Paul Levet, tra i talenti emergenti più interessanti dopo una stagione 2025 di alto livello nel monomarca Lamborghini.

After dominating the 2025 season, VSR enters the 2026 Italian Gran Turismo Sprint Championship with an even more ambitious program: three Lamborghini Huracán GT3 Evo 2s, all fielded in the GT3 Pro class, to defend the Overall, Pro-Am, and Team titles won last season and confirm their position as the category’s benchmark.

The Romagna-based team will field three Lamborghini Huracán GT3 Evo 2s for three Pro crews, a clear choice that confirms their desire to once again aim for the top in an increasingly competitive environment.

The #66 car driven by Mattia Michelotto and Ignazio Zanon, key protagonists of last season and ready to make the jump to the Pro category after their success in Pro-Am, will lead the field. This is a natural progression for a pairing that has already demonstrated great harmony and consistency.

A new crew, composed of Briton Georgi Dimitrov and Simone Riccitelli from the Marche region, will debut in the #63. The former comes from the Lamborghini Super Trofeo, where he stood out for his speed and consistency, while the Fabriano native brings with him a wealth of experience gained in endurance racing and prototypes.

The #19 also features a young and international lineup, with the return of Norwegian Marcus Paverud, a former GT3 championship contender, joined by Frenchman Paul Levet, one of the most exciting emerging talents after a high-level 2025 season in the Lamborghini one-make series.
