With the season finale taking place at Barcelona today, Kessel Racing concludes an outstanding GT World Challenge Europe campaign marked by multiple victories, dominant performances, and championship titles in both the Endurance and Sprint Bronze Cup.

Fielding two Ferrari 296 GT3s, the Swiss team competed in both the Endurance and Sprint Cups over nine exhilarating race weekends. Both cars were entered in the Endurance Cup, while the #74 Ferrari also took part in the Sprint Cup. The #8 car was driven by the Swiss-Italian trio Nicolò Rosi (CH), Niccolò Schirò (ITA), and David Fumanelli (ITA). In the Sprint Cup, the #74 featured Dustin Bluttner (USA) and Dennis Marschall (GER), with Danish driver Conrad Laursen joining the lineup for the Endurance Cup rounds.

Throughout the season, Kessel Racing achieved five podium finishes and celebrated five Bronze Cup race victories – including two of the most prestigious endurance events on the calendar: the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa and the 6 Hours of Le Castellet at Circuit Paul Ricard. The team also secured an outright overall Pole Position with the #74 Ferrari at the Sprint Cup round in Valencia.

Kessel Racing’s consistency and top-level performance earned them both the Drivers’ and Teams’ Championships in the Endurance Bronze Cup – titles clinched two rounds before the season finale at the iconic Nürburgring. Furthermore, the team added another crown by winning the Bronze Cup Sprint title at the penultimate round in Valencia.

After raising the bar once again, the final race of the season came to an early end for the #8 car. Despite securing pole position in the Bronze Cup, it was involved in a heavy accident—fortunately, all drivers emerged unscathed. Kessel Racing’s remaining contender, the #74 Ferrari, did not disappoint and delivered another strong performance, claiming third place after a demanding and hard-fought race.

Ronnie Kessel, Team Principal
“This season has been one of the most rewarding in recent years. The entire team, from the engineers and mechanics to the drivers, has shown incredible dedication, passion, and precision. Winning both the Endurance and Sprint Bronze titles, as well as conquering Spa and Le Castellet, is the result of perfect teamwork and belief in our vision. I am deeply proud of everyone who contributed to this success – and I am especially excited about securing our entry for the 24 Hours of Le Mans next year thanks to this great season.”

Gianmaria Botta, Team Manager and Sporting Director
“I am very proud of the work done by the whole team during this long season. For the first time in many years, we returned to compete in the full season and showed everyone our strength and speed. The #74 was the absolute protagonist of an historic season, winning the 24H of Spa, the sprint and endurance championships, demonstrating absolute superiority over its rivals in the Bronze category. The #8 car, on the other hand, had a good endurance season with consistent top 10 finishes and, above all, it also contributed to the Team Title victory, which makes me very proud and which I consider the most important achievement, demonstrating the perfect work of all the guys on the track and in the workshop.”
