OTTIMA ESPERIENZA ASIATICA TARGATA “NORDMECCANICA GROUP” PER JD MOTORSPORT ED I SUOI PILOTI

Il Team JD Motorsport, con Antonio Spavone e Riccardo Agostini, lo scorso 5 novembre ha portato in pista due monoposto sul tracciato di Tianma-Shanghai (Cina), nella prova asiatica valida per il Campionato “Formula Pilota China”, concomitante con il Mondiale Turismo WTCC. Sfortunati entrambe i piloti che sono stati colpiti dall’influenza con 39 di febbre e, quindi, non han potuto essere fisicamente al meglio. Nonostante questo Agostini, rimasto a riposo saltando le prove libere, ha ottenuto un ottimo 3° tempo in qualifica, mentre Spavone che non è riuscito a familiarizzare con il nuovo tracciato, prima a causa della rottura del motore e poi per noie ai freni nelle libere, non si è spinto oltre al 14° tempo in qualifica.

Su un tracciato particolarmente stretto e di poco più di 2 km di lunghezza dove è molto difficile sorpassare, ha concluso 13° Gara 1 mentre ha poi saputo sfruttare a proprio favore le condizioni difficili di Gara 2, in cui ha anche piovuto, terminando all’8°.

Agostini, invece, è stato abile a mantenere la posizione della qualifica in Gara 1, andando così a podio, mentre ha guadagnato una posizione in Gara 2, terminando 5°.

Si è trattata di un’ottima esperienza internazionale per il Team JD Motorsport ed i propri piloti, resa possibile grazie alla collaborazione con NORDMECCANICA GROUP, in cui, nonostante le condizioni difficili di ambientamento e di salute dei piloti, il potenziale espresso è stato di altissimo livello considerando gli pneumatici differenti da quelli utilizzati in Europa ed il tracciato nuovo sia per il Team che per entrambe i piloti.

Team JD Motorsport, with Antonio Spavone and Riccardo Agostini, went on track with two single seaters the last 5th November in Tianma-Shanghai circuit (China), in the Asian Event of the “Formula Pilota China” Championship, partnering with the Turism World Championship WTCC.

Unlucky the both Drivers which were affected by temperature with 39 degree therefore they were not physically better. Despite this Agostini stay quiet avoiding Free Practices and getting than a very good 3rd time during Qualifying Session, while Spavone didn’t improve more than the 14th time because of he couldn’t practice well with the track before for the engine failure and after for some brake problems during Free Practices.

On a tight circuit and with a bit more than 2 km in length, where it’s very difficult overtaking, he finished 13th in Race 1, while he has been able to manage Race 2 difficult conditions due to an heavy rain, too, crossing the line under the chequered flag 8th.

Agostini was good in keeping his starting position in Race 1 so that he was on the Podium, and in Race 2 he won one position than the start finishing 5th.

It has been a very good international experience for Team JD Motorsport and its Drivers, which has been possible thanks to the partnership with NORDMECCANICA GROUP, where, despite the difficult condition both due to the different environment and to the Driver’s health, the potential has been shown was very high considering the different tyres used comparing with the European Series and the track new both for the Team and Drivers.
