La Draco domina a Jerez: primo Baguette, secondo Barba

Un inizio sicuramente di ottimo auspicio per il Team Draco che si appresta ad affrontare la stagione 2009 del campionato World Series by Renault.


Nella sessione pomeridiana dei primi test collettivi dell'anno, disputati oggi, martedì 10 marzo, a Jerez de la Frontera, in Portogallo, le vetture Draco, con la nuovissima livrea bianca, arancio e verde come la Force India F.1, hanno conquistato la vetta della classifica.

Bertrand Baguette si è posizionato primo con 1'30"198 e 11 giri percorsi, seguito dal compagno di squadra, lo spagnolo Marco Barba con 1'30"324 ed 8 giri in pista. I piloti hanno infatti potuto percorrere pochi chilomentri sul tracciato a causa della bandiera rossa sventolata a metà sessione.

Nel corso della mattinata comunque i due piloti Draco hanno potuto lavorare al meglio con il proprio team percorrendo più di 50 giri ciascuno ed ottenendo ottimi tempi.

Domani il team sarà di nuovo impegnato in un'altra giornata di test, per poi spostarsi nel circuito di Valencia dove inizierà venerdì 13 la seconda sessione di prove collettive.

Draco Team dominates at Jerez: Baguette first, Barba second

A very good start for the Draco Team who is preparing to face the 2009 season in the World Series by Renault championship. In the afternoon session of the first collective test of the year, today, Tuesday 10 March at Jerez de la Frontera, in Portugal, Draco cars, with the new white, orange and green livery, as the Force India F.1, have won the top of the league.

Bertrand Baguette was placed first with 1'30 "198 and 11 laps, followed by his teammate, the Spanish Marco Barba with 1'30" 324 and 8 laps on track. The drivers have been able to cover a few kilometers on track because of the red flag has been waved at half session.

During the morning, however, the two Draco drivers could work with their team, covering more than 50 laps each of them and obtaining good times.

Tomorrow the team will again be engaged in another day of testing, then it will move into the circuit of Valencia where the second session of collective testing will start Friday 13 march.
