Ballito race driver Daniel Duminy heads to Zwartkops Raceway looking for a jump up the Engen Polo Cup championship table when the Extreme Festival roadshow visits the Pretoria circuit for its sixth round races Saturday 18 August. Duminy has had a strong season in the highly competitive class so far aboard his SMD Racing VMR Polo, but he’s eyeing a step up to the top of the podium next.
“I’m excited for a good weekend,” Daniel admitted. “We are ready for a win now — Zwartkops is our team’s home track — we’ve put a lot of effort into the car and I have been working flat out in the gym, while also honing my driving on the kart track. “Zwartkops is always an intense race — close and competitive and a great opportunity to consolidate my championship position.
“Thanks also to the best team in the business – I owe it to them and I am out to deliver this weekend — bring it on!”
