FFF Racing all set with exciting two-car entry in Super Trofeo Asia

Jack Bartholomew returns to the team having secured the Pro title a few weeks ago in Bahrain and will race alongside James Pull. The paring will compete on the #19 entry having performed so well together in the final two rounds of the Super Trofeo Middle East Championship where together they won four races from four starts.

“I’m really excited to continue the partnership with FFF Racing for the rest of the 2018 season in Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia, having already sealed a title in the UAE Super Trofeo. I am sure we can bring a serious challenge for the title in Asia this year,” said Bartholomew. “I know the circuits now and will work extremely hard in Sepang to learn and understand the new Super Trofeo Evo car so we are as prepared as possible. I cannot wait to get going and continue our strong form and hopefully many more wins and podiums together this season!”

Andrea Amici returns to FFF Racing in the #63 entry alongside Artur Janosz. Amici has competed with FFF Racing before, helping the team to the 2016 GT Asia championship, while the Italian was also the 2013 Super Trofeo Europe title winner.

Janosz meanwhile comes from a single seater background, competing in GP3 in 2016 and 2016 before moving to the GT Series Endurance Cup last year. The Pole is looking forward to his season with FFF Racing.

“It’s great to go back to Asia,” Janosz began. “Last year it was my first year in and I enjoyed it a lot. I can’t wait to start the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia season. I am always looking to improve and I will do everything I can to deliver the results. This year we will have a new car which seems to be very good. I’m also happy to work with FFF Racing and for sure we will do great work together. It’s one month to the first race weekend but I can’t wait to get back in the car.”

Having shown to well in the Middle East championship, the Chinese-based squad are determined to carry the momentum into the next challenge in Asia.

“We have worked very hard to ensure that we have all eventualities covered,” explained team owner Sean Fu Songyang. “The performance already in 2018 has been impressive and we’re working well together as a team. I’m delighted to have Jack and James back together again – it’s a winning combination. I am also pleased to welcome back Andrea Amici who we know very well and it’s good to see Artur Janosz join us for the championship.”

Super Trofeo Asia consists of five rounds, the first of which gets underway at Sepang International Circuit 14-15 April.
