Paddock entertainment set to light up Qatar experience

If you’re heading to the Acerbis Qatar Round for the final racing action of the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship season, then you certainly won’t be bored at the Losail International Circuit with plenty to keep you entertained over the weekend. Getting excited about seeing the history making Jonathan Rea (Kawasaki Racing Team) out on track? We don’t blame you, but there is even more to keep you excited this weekend.

With every ticket purchased, there is free access into the paddock. This means you will be able to soak up the unique atmosphere of the Qatar paddock, as well as be in with a chance of meeting your heroes out and about in between sessions. You can even make it a family affair as children under the age of 11 can gain free access – they’re never too young to enjoy bike racing! Whether you’re bringing your bike or car, you will be able to park both for free with all tickets on offer.

As the paddock is open to everyone, there will be plenty to do inside the travelling WorldSBK village over the weekend. From Thursday to Sunday, you will be able to enjoy some chill out time in the Arabic tent, perhaps after eating too much food from the food court, full of different options to choose from. Show your support for your favourite rider, or even the WorldSBK series as a whole with the official merchandising tents, which you can sport whilst cheering on the riders on track. On top of this, you can enjoy a motorbike exhibition or a ride in the Red Bull Car Simulators to really fuel that need for speed. On top of this, there will be a prayer tent available for anyone wanting to pay their respects.

However the star of the 2017 show will no doubt be the paddock show stage, which will be full of action from Thursday right through to Saturday evening. Thursday will tickle your tastebuds with what’s to come, as the stage welcomes the fastest men from the opening day’s sessions from 23.00h, giving you the inside line on what riders have experienced in their opening day out on track. Friday sees the introduction of the SuperShow, which is new for 2017 and allows fans to meet their heroes from both WorldSSP and WorldSBK in the evening. After what is set to be some stunning Superpole and racing action, don’t miss your chance to see the riders on stage as they will no doubt bring their best stories from the evenings action.

Ending the weekend, and the season, in stunning style the Paddock Show stage is set to host a fitting end to what has been a phenomenal 2017 season. Ending the day with the traditional WorldSBK meet and greet, fans are then invited to witness the official prize giving show ceremony. Kicking off at 23.00h, all you will get to hear from Jonathan Rea and the freshly crowned WorldSSP champion after what will be an electric day on track. Come along and celebrate the success of the historical season we have been treated to.
