We are very pleased to report that FIA World Touring Car Championship leader Tiago Monteiro has returned to Portugal for the first time since his recent testing incident at Barcelona.
After receiving medical clearance, Tiago was today (Friday, September 15) transferred to a hospital in his home country.
He will continue his recovery there for at least another few days before returning home.
On behalf of Tiago, his family, and Castrol Honda World Touring Car Team, we would like to take this opportunity to say thank you for all the ‘get well soon’ messages, which are greatly appreciated.
