Vittoria e primato in classifica per Cameron, Griffin e Rugolo alla “4 Ore del Paul Ricard”, quarto e penultimo appuntamento dell’European Le Mans Series. Al loro risultato di vertice si aggiungono una serie di piazzamenti positivi per le altre Ferrari del team italiano e per le 458 di AT Racing e Formula Racing (gestite tecnicamente da AF Corse). Categoria LM GTE La Ferrari numero 55 con Duncan Cameron, Matt Griffin e Michele Rugolo chiude in prima posizione tra le vetture GT e con l’oro di categoria LM GTE. I tre prendono il comando dalla seconda ora di gara e, di fatto, non mollano più la testa della corsa fino alla bandiera a scacchi. In seconda piazza, ecco la Ferrari numero 56 di AT Racing con Alexander Talkanitsa, Pierre Kaffer e Mirko Venturi. Quarta posizione colta da Piergiuseppe Perazzini, Marco Cioci e Micheal Lyons sulla Ferrari 458 Italia numero 54 di AF Corse. In classifica generale Piloti LM GTE, Cameron e Griffin sono primi con 81 punti; Rugolo segue in seconda posizione con 75 punti. Stesso punteggio per AF Corse nella classifica Team. Categoria GTC – Secondo gradino del podio conquistato da Johnny Laursen, Mikkel Mac e Jan Magnussen sulla Ferrari 458 Italia numero 60 di Formula Racing. Laursen e Mac sono secondi in classifica Piloti GTC (Magnussen ha corso una gara in meno) con 60.5 punti, lontani 18.5 dalla vetta. In quinta posizione al Paul Ricard, Adrien de Leener e Cedric Sbirrazzuoli sulla Ferrari 458 Italia numero 95 di AF Corse. Una posizione più in giù ci sono Thomas Flohr, Andrea Rizzoli e Francesco Castellacci sulla 458 numero 94 di AF Corse. Dodicesima piazza per Mads Rasmussen e Felipe Barreiros sulla loro Ferrari 458 Italia numero 63. Ritirati Yannick Mallegol, Francois Perrodo e Emanuel Collard con la Ferrari 458 Italia numero 70. Il prossimo appuntamento con l’European Le Mans Series, l’ultimo della stagione, sarà a Estoril il 19 ottobre.

European Le Mans Series: victory in the “4 Hours of Paul Ricard” and first position in the stadings
Victory and first position in the GT Drivers standings for Cameron, Griffin and Rugolo at the end of the “4 Hour of Paul Ricard”, the fourth and penultimate round of the European Le Mans Series 2014. In addition to this result, it’s necessary to highlight the positive perfomances of the other Ferrari 458′s lined up by the Italian and the podia for AT Racing and Formula Racing (both technically managed by AF Corse). LM GTE Category The AF Corse Ferrari #55, driven by Duncan Cameron, Matt Griffin and Michele Rugolo took the chequered flag in first position among the GT cars and in category. The trio gained the lead in the second hour keeping it up to the end. Second position for the AT Racing Ferrari 458 Italia with Alexander Talkanitsa, Pierre Kaffer and Mirko Venturi.
