Debut in the ATS Formula 3 Cup. Germany’s fastest single-seater series will warm up at official pre-season tests at Lausitzring and etropolis Motorsport Arena Oschersleben this year. On April 6th and 7th the teams will have their first encounter in 2014. Formula drivers and their teams will have a chance to complete tests and to prepare for the season in the Lausitz before heading to the Magdeburger Börde region for further tests on April 9th and 10th. Drivers contesting other Formula series may also take part, and the first participants have already submitted their registrations. In addition, the Formula 3 Association welcomes media representatives to a media day in cooperation with the ADAC GT Masters at Oschersleben on April 8th.
This event, about two weeks before the start of the ATS Formula 3 Cup season, will be exciting for interested drivers and teams. They will have a chance to prepare for the upcoming season between April 6th and 10th, with two days of testing at Lausitzring and another two at Oschersleben. “We have already received the first registrations,” says Sebastian Wittrisch, Head of Organisation. “We have been planning the pre-season tests for a while. And now we are looking forward to the debut. Finally we are able to provide a good opportunity for our teams to make an initial assessment ahead of the official start of the season.”
